Joseph Zotoo is a Ghana-based incubation and acceleration specialist, designing market-ready programs that move informal and early-stage ventures from hustle to growth. He leads business development and research at The Or Foundation, Accra, aligning training, cooperative formation, and market access for circular-textile enterprises, youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
With a decade of venture support experience, including growth leadership at Talents in Africa, he has secured over $200k in grants, built practical curricula on financial literacy, bookkeeping, and go-to-market strategy, and operationalized Theory of Change and MEL tools for cohort delivery. Joseph co-creates “alignment, not formalisation,” recognizing trader-led records, susu systems, and community governance as valid business infrastructure for what he calls the ‘open market economy’.
He works across UNIDO-linked circular economy projects, cooperative licensing, and HS code advocacy, holds an LL.M in Law for MSMEs, and is known for data-driven program design, simple controls that build trust, and pathways to finance that scale resilient enterprises
